A visionary winery in the Uco Valley

I met them long before they were making wine. Back then, they were pistachio growers.

Bodega DiamAndes belongs to the Bonnie family, originally from Belgium, and it is part of the Clos de los Siete project. Within Clos de los Siete, it’s one of the five wineries, and it has its own very strong identity while still being part of that larger vision of quality in the Uco Valley.

After harvest, they cool the grapes in cold chambers for 12 to 24 hours. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference, especially for white grapes, helping to preserve freshness and enhance aromas and flavors.

Technology is everywhere in the winery. Everything is fully controlled digitally, to the point where the winemaker could be in France and still manage the tanks from his phone. That level of control is something you really feel in the final wines.
